A simple explanation of human need

What is meant by physiological needs?

Physiological needs refer to the basic biological needs required for human survival and well-being. These include the needs for food, water, shelter, sleep, and other essential physical requirements. Physiological needs form the foundation of Maslow's hierarchy of needs and must be fulfilled before an individual can move on to higher-level needs such as safety, social, esteem, and self-actualization needs.

What are the characteristics of safety needs?

Safety needs, as identified by Maslow, are one of the fundamental human needs. They relate to an individual's desire for physical and psychological safety and security. Characteristics of safety needs in the workplace include a safe and hazard-free work environment, job security and stability, fair employment practices, clear policies and procedures, protection from discrimination and harassment, adequate compensation and benefits, access to healthcare and insurance, and opportunities for personal and financial stability. Meeting employees' safety needs creates a sense of stability, trust, and well-being, allowing them to focus on their work and contribute effectively to the organization.
