Essay Plan

Speaker 1 argues for the adoption of a common global language to enhance global communication, promote global unity, and benefit education. They believe that a common language would not eradicate existing languages but rather add another language to one's linguistic repertoire. Speaker 2, on the other hand, opposes the adoption of a common global language, citing concerns about cultural homogenization, power imbalances, and the difficulty of implementation. They suggest promoting multilingualism and leveraging technology to overcome language barriers instead.
